Commissioners approved Resolution 2026-01 establishing new chair and vice chair positions. The Environmental Health Department distributed 269 free radon test kits last year through state funding.
The board granted continuance for PLN 25-007, the Swan Valley Estates General Subdivision Exemption modifying driveway access for Lot 8 in the Swan River Valley PUD zone. Staff supported the applicant’s continuance request. The hearing moves to March 10, 2026 at 1:30 PM at 208 Lincoln Avenue in Breckenridge with Zoom participation available.
Dan Hendershot, Environmental Health Manager, presented the annual radon proclamation. Hendershot said the message remains important for residents who haven’t heard about radon dangers.
The newly appointed chair took control and promised to “run a really tight ship.” Commissioners approved the consent agenda covering routine administrative matters.
