Recently, the Colorado Supreme Court issued rulings reopening Children’s Hospital to perform transgender care on minors. This comes after the federal government issued executive orders banning all medical, chemical, and mental procedures on minors. Yet Colorado has again chosen to act in contempt of federal directives. This not only enables crimes against our youth — it flies in the face of everything humane and decent.
Attached are two federal documents for review: one addressing Title IX violations in Jefferson County Public Schools, the other the U.S. Department of Education’s directive to end racial preferences in schools. The truth is, the people responsible are fully aware of the damage they are creating.
What is criminal is that certain officials have made themselves the arbiters of destruction of innocent lives — even when the majority of Colorado citizens do not approve. They are enabling schools to continue indoctrinating and harming children through mental and physical means, promoting what they falsely label “gender care.” This is a blight on history that will label those responsible as criminals against humanity. Even the Federal Trade Commission has launched an investigation into these assaults on children and minors in America.
I do not recall our Constitution enabling mankind to mutilate its youth as a right.
This letter is also filed as a complaint to the Department of Justice, as Colorado has totally overstepped its authority and the boundaries of human decency. This state needs to be investigated for its inhumane and illegal overreach. I object as a grieving grandmother, watching this state slip further into depravity.
In a June 5 article by Jaleesa Irizamy out of Aurora, a group of parents is suing Children’s Hospital. Their attorney, Greisen, argues that the hospital’s requirement of a risk bond is unfair to families seeking these services. But the real question isn’t about the bond — it’s about the irreversible harm being done to minors and the misuse of Medicaid funds to pay for it. We are quibbling over money while children are being permanently altered.
The Children’s Hospital board and ownership should be held fully accountable. And anyone enabling this should be as well.
I welcome the day that families use the law to hold accountable every school, board, city council, commission, and court that has trampled on the lives and rights of innocent minors and their parents. You are not above the law. The Constitution says otherwise.
Forwarded to Colorado Springs City Council, multiple Front Range school boards, El Paso County commissioners, Boulder County commissioners, Arapahoe County commissioners, Huerfano County commissioners, Elbert County commissioners, and Douglas County School District board, June 8, 2026:
The day will come when every counselor, teacher, administrator, and school district will be sued for the horrors and abuses done to our children — and that day is already arriving. Lawsuits are being filed nationwide. The federal government has issued executive orders to protect our children. When will schools stop this mutilation of innocent children? When will the people we elected, or pay daily, wake up and stop these crimes against our nation and our children? Many parents and grandparents will never stop this fight.
In 2022, I was removed from a school board meeting for allegedly heckling — when all I said was that one of the board members deserved legal counsel. Imagine that: a 72-year-old grandmother asking for fair treatment, often waiting until midnight to testify. The people on the other side carried larger signs and jumped on tables. We have pictures. Friends of mine who were also removed won a jury verdict in 2025 for First Amendment violations. My rights were violated as well.
Worse, our children are violated daily by misinformation used to elevate one category of youth above all others. How did our schools reach the point where academics is no longer the priority? How did schools produce a generation where fewer than half the children read accurately? The amount of money spent for increasingly poor educational outcomes is also criminal and needs investigation — including school bonds, which are their own category of misrepresentation. I will send a separate letter on that subject.
For now, I am putting you all on notice. As we build larger family coalitions to fight for our children’s lives, bodies, and healthy educations, we will hold all accountable. I look forward to it.
Thank you for thinking hard and long before you mutilate one more child. We will never quit.
