If I were a globalist, a socialist, a Marxist, I would attempt to retain all of the control I could get in one smaller pot, and pull the strings of the “little people, also referred to as plebeians.” Eventually these groups, also known as commoners gained the ability to make laws, and participate in their society. I am thinking you all did not get that memo, nor did you get the memo that we left England and the King for freedom. Don’t blame our President, or keep calling him a “No Kings” person. You all, and your wrong-headed ideologies are playing the real “Kings” by taking away our rights daily with bills designed to strip our every asset from our possession.
This bill says we face a severe housing shortage, but what we are facing is a shortage of common sense, and a shortage of respect for the citizens in Colorado. What we have is many huge high density SUPSIDIZED BUILDINGS standing vacant, like a Russian Gulag. “It will create inequities between owner occupied homes and non-owner occupied housing.” “You would create instability, higher taxes, and higher land values. “(PPAR)
What we have here is an attempt to revamp, change, alter, and rob an existing property assessment system, which is in place to manage in some reasonable manner, our residential and commercial properties. The idea of a split-rate system is more of an urban, socialist scenario than a free market system. This bill in the end run will drive up prices for everyone, and will give “freebies” to subsidized properties, and certain other chosen entities. Further, it will cause epic reorganizational chaos for our county records, our assessors, and our property owners. We don’t have a Money Problem, We have a Highway Robbery Problem. The nonstop movement of money from one place to give to another, does not fix your mismanagement of the BUDGET. This needs to be reductions, not increases, or disguises called FEES, and too many more government positions needing paychecks. Lower taxes and more people stay, buy, and pay. Drive the taxes higher, subsidize non-paying entities, and destroy the market, and you lose people, homes, and whole communities.
We have too much interference from local and state entities into our lands, our lives, and our real estate. This is a Negative Impact on a Free Nation.
