Hello HCA,
This is not a story, but a request for context to a story already published.
In your story re the measles case in S. County, you noted that a charter school there is only 25% vaccinated with the MMR. You said the state wants 85% immunization for “herd immunity,” implying that the unvaccinated 75% is a matter of considerable concern, especially in light of the infant’s infection.
You should know that the MMR and MMRV vaccines will prevent measles, but have never been tested against a true placebo (a normal saline injection) for any length of time, let alone for the period of years, during which new adverse events (AE’s) may emerge. Such placebo-controlled trials are the only way to know with certainty what are the AE’s caused by a vaccine product, and what is the frequency with which each AE may appear.
Parents are increasingly aware that not a single vaccine presently on the CDC’s “Childhood Vaccine Schedule,” including the MMR/V, has ever been subjected to such evaluation. Not by Big Vax, and not by any government agency, even CDC, FDA, and NIH! This awareness is due to the recent publication of books like “Turtles All the Way Down, Vaccine Science and Myth,” which relies solely on government and industry statements and statistics; and “Vax Facts,” by pediatrician Paul Thomas, in which he compares the incidence, between groups of vaccinated and unvaccinated children, of a number of chronic childhood ailments like Type 1 diabetes, autism spectrum disorders, and ADHD. Unvaxxed kids have far less of these horrible scourges.
But what about deaths? How many deaths may be attributed to measles infection, which those of us of a certain age routinely contracted and left behind us, having acquired lifelong natural immunity? How many deaths can be blamed on the vaccine? VAERS data was evaluated in the following study published in February: https://www.thefocalpoints.com/p/breaking-study-mmr-and-mmrv-vaccines
The analysis revealed a shocking 26x more deaths post-MMR vs. deaths from measles, from 1995 to 2025. And, this may be underreported by a factor of 30-100x according to researchers who have looked into how many AE’s are never reported to VAERS.
As you may be aware, parents usually choose a charter school over “regular public school,” to avoid rules and requirements of which they do not approve for their children. Perhaps in light of the information I’ve shared (reading only chapter 1 of both books would be an excellent introduction), you will understand parents’ reluctance to push these poorly-researched products into their children. Then you might suggest in a future edition that if this school does not require vaccination, then it, and the parents who endorse this policy, may have made the right choice.

Editor’s note,
We do believe that we are living in a changing landscape of the medical world. The shifts at HHS, the state-level exemption expansions, and the changing CDC posture are all in the current observed.
