The Rise of the “No Kings” Movement
The October 2025 *No Kings* protests were billed as a defense of democracy—millions marching under banners warning of dictatorship and “monarchy.” Yet the same people who chant “No Kings” had no objections when the Democratic Party bypassed voters to install Vice President Kamala Harris as its 2024 presidential nominee after President Biden’s collapse in the polls. The DNC’s maneuver may have been legal under party rules, but it was anything but democratic. There were no primaries, no competition, and no voter consent—just a backroom decision rubber-stamped by party delegates. In any other context, that’s what authoritarian succession looks like.
The Myth of Anti-Fascism
Antifa claims to be anti-fascist, but its tactics—intimidation, property destruction, and mob enforcement—mirror the authoritarianism it says it opposes. Violence in the streets, silencing of dissent, and harassment of political opponents are not hallmarks of democracy. Antifa’s worldview rejects capitalism, private property, and the Constitution itself. It’s not about defending freedom—it’s about replacing it with ideological control. The same is true for the militant factions of Black Lives Matter, which turned legitimate calls for reform into a license for rioting and division. Together, these groups form a radical network that feeds on chaos and resentment.
Selective Outrage
The radical left’s outrage is remarkably selective. They were silent when Joe Biden ignored Supreme Court rulings and threatened to pack the Court for political gain. They had no problem when his administration used executive agencies to bypass Congress. But when Donald Trump exercises powers granted under the Constitution—within legal and judicial limits—they call him a dictator. Trump has respected the separation of powers and abided by Supreme Court decisions, even unfavorable ones. That’s not tyranny; that’s constitutional government.
Authoritarianism by Another Name
True authoritarianism doesn’t always wear a crown or carry a flag. Sometimes it marches behind slogans like *No Kings* and waves signs about “democracy.” It takes power not through military coups, but through bureaucracy, media manipulation, and mob intimidation. When a political movement excuses violence from its own side while condemning law enforcement for doing its job, that’s not democracy—it’s coercion. When the ruling party handpicks its next leader without a single ballot cast, that’s not freedom—it’s control.
A Nation Worth Defending
The Constitution remains the last safeguard against the mob and the bureaucrat alike. Those who honor it—whether they vote Republican, Democrat, or Independent—stand for the same principles our forefathers fought to defend: liberty under law, free speech, and equal justice. America doesn’t need “No Kings” marches to preserve democracy. It needs citizens who know what real tyranny looks like—and who refuse to let it hide behind the mask of progress.
Billionaire Funding Allegations Surface
On October 22, 2025, Florida Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna publicly claimed that the ‘No Kings’ protest movement was heavily funded by billionaire donors and large political organizations. Luna stated that approximately $294 million was spent to organize and promote the protests—funding that, she said, proves the movement was not grassroots but an orchestrated, billionaire-backed operation. In her posts on Facebook and X (formerly Twitter), she specifically named the Soros Foundation, Buffett, the ACLU, Indivisible, and Planned Parenthood among the financial supporters. Luna asserted, ‘I brought receipts showing the ‘No Kings’ protests were backed by $294 MILLION,’ referring to what she described as documented evidence of the funding sources. As of October 23, 2025, no public release of the alleged receipts has been confirmed, and independent verification of the claims has not yet occurred. The accusations, however, have reignited debate over whether the movement is truly grassroots or a coordinated effort bankrolled by political elites.
