Dear Sean Pond,
Thank you for throwing your hat in the ring to run for U.S. Senate. Thank you for getting in the fight that day when the federal government decided to try to confiscate more land and water from Coloradans by trying to designate another monument here in the west called the Delores Monument. That day you became involved, Sean Pond, because you knew how government works. You knew it wasn’t a protection of land and water but a taking of land and water. You and Danielle put the forces together and started Halt the Delores Monument. When I told you to look into the Wyss Foundation in Durango and follow the money, you didn’t ignore me, you did what I asked. When I asked you to talk to Phil Lyman in San Juan County, Utah, our neighbor, to understand better what the federal government was doing to communities, you did. Your Halt the Delores Monument worked, Sean! Then what happened? Commissioners Sue Hansen and Cody Davis belly up to the table with the federal government again, and try to put the West End of Montrose County into an NCA!! You showed the citizens how it worked. You videoed meetings that you were in attendance and showed the people just how the backroom deals worked. You wrote to us via your FB page and told us everything. Finally, sunlight into the darkness of the forked tongued politicians. It played out just how most of us fighters figured it did. They would say one thing to our face and do another behind our backs. Sean, I am excited to stand with you, campaign for you and stand for We the People of Colorado against those who have sailed our jobs, our economies, our visions down the preverbal river using environmentalism who use foundations such as the Walton Family Foundation, The Wyss Foundation, The Tides Foundation, to fund organizations such as Trout Unlimited, Save the Colorado River and pump money into the NGOs, such as Region 10, Club 20, Western Colorado Alliance, Americans for Prosperity, Colorado West Land Trust and the list goes on. These NGOs will start pouring money into a candidate who they know they can pay off or into PACs. You did it Sean, you picked up the baton and onward you go, one who will truly represent us, the People of the state of Colorado against Hickenlooper and Bennett, too, I might add. Now it’s our job, we, not you, but we the People, have to work to get you across the finish line. It will be tough!!!! However, we can do this!!!! We have two candidates that are going to create another divide, Mark Baisley who is good enough or we have the best, Sean Pond. My vote goes to Sean Pond!
Respectfully,
Barbara Hul
