The technology exists in the $20 monthly subscription tier. Most citizens lack Macs or $200 monthly for enterprise features. Government defending constitutional challenges has unlimited budgets.
SpaceX and xAI merged February 2, creating a $1.25 trillion company. The deal required no regulatory approval. Both companies were private. Hart-Scott-Rodino requires pre-merger notification for transactions over $535.5 million. A $535.5 million public merger triggers mandatory review. A $1.25 trillion private merger closes same-day. Musk announced plans for a mid-2026 IPO that could command $1.5 trillion valuation—51 times larger than Saudi Aramco’s record offering. Public investors will buy shares in a merged entity they never scrutinized. Regulators will oversee a combination they never reviewed.
Nvidia’s $4.51 trillion market capitalization exceeds Japan’s $4.2 trillion GDP. Twelve companies carry valuations larger than all but seventeen countries. Those companies control infrastructure nations depend on but don’t regulate. Starlink operates 9,633 active satellites—65% globally, more than every nation-state combined. Three companies run 67% of cloud computing. Two companies control 95% of mobile app distribution outside China. One company supplies 85% of AI chips. AWS outages stop 20-30% of internet services. When Bill Gates maintained contact with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein through 2018, these asset managers controlled enough Microsoft shares to force him out. They chose not to. From 2013 through 2020, Vanguard held 8-9% of Microsoft, BlackRock 7-8%, State Street 4%. DOJ files documented Gates’ relationship with Epstein continuing after the 2008 conviction. Draft emails claim Gates asked Epstein for antibiotics to secretly medicate his wife after contracting a sexually transmitted disease. Trump signed an Executive Order February 6 imposing tariffs on countries purchasing any goods or services from Iran. The USS Abraham Lincoln carrier strike group reached the region. Supreme Leader Khamenei warned February 1 that US attack would trigger “regional war.” Indirect talks in Muscat February 6 produced no breakthrough. A government that can’t agree whether it killed 3,000 or 36,000 of its own citizens faces military pressure from a carrier strike group while diplomatic options narrow.
